After a few years vacillating between tax consultancy for Arthur Andersen & Co in the early 90’s and leading expeditions in South America, Richard eventually settled for a career in production and joined Lambie-Nairn+Co in 1994, where he worked on a broad spectrum of brand identities and TV commercials. In 1998 he joined English & Pockett for 2 years as Executive Producer until the opportunity to work on a Bond movie tempted him away. In 2003 he returned to English & Pockett to produce the rebranding of UEFA Champions League and ultimately moved up to become the managing director. December 2007 saw the retirement of the founding partner and with it the closure of E+P. In January 2008 Richard teamed up with creative director, Michael Berthon, to form Radiant Studios, which has subsequently gone on to design the latest concept and identity for UEFA Champions League amongst a variety of other international projects.
Outside of work Richard is a keen on a variety of sports and regularly commutes to work by kayak.
