Michal Povolny – Creative Director
HBO Central Europe

Michal Povolny began his career in television as a documentary director and music composer.
Along his documentary projects he also worked on several film productions at the Prague's Barrandov studios.
He started his promo work as a writer producer and editor at HBO Czech. He was responsible designing graphic
packages for HBO Czech and Spektrum channels. After moving to Budapest 6 years ago he continued to work for HBO Central Europe. 
As a creative director he is supervising a team of more then 30 creative people across the region and they deliver 24 channels for  the
HBO & Cinemax  family in Central Europe including this year’s new addition – HBO HD Central Europe.
