
The CTAM Europe Creative Awards Program is designed to recognize the outstanding achievement and creative excellence in the European cable marketing industry. Operators and content providers are invited to submit their marketing and promotional pieces in hopes of achieving the top honor: the Gold Creative Award.
These guidelines will answer your questions regarding the CTAME Creative Awards Program.
1. ENTER - Fill out the on-line Entry Form to enter to the competition.
2. ELIGIBILITY - Entrants (or entrant’s company) must be a CTAM Europe member. There are two entry divisions:
a. Operators
b. Networks & Content Providers
3. ENTRY CATEGORIES
Brand Image & Positioning
Acquisition or Retention Marketing
Interactive Marketing (i.e.: online, digital media)
New Product or Service Launch Campaign
4. RULES & GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
a. Entries must consist of marketing and advertising campaigns first used between 31 May 2007 and 31 May, 2008.
b. Single TV spots will NOT be accepted as campaigns.
c. Please submit your entry form and all of your marketing materials no later than 31 July, 2008. Submissions arriving after the deadline will not be accepted in the competition.
d. An entry may be submitted in one category only. Operators and content providers should communicate who is submitting their entries to avoid duplication.
5. PAYMENT
a. Early Bird Entry Fee – 100 EURO per campaign with submission of all the materials by 30 June, 2008
b. Regular Entry Fee – 150 EURO per campaign with submission of all the materials by 31 July, 2008.
The Entry Fee will have to be paid online by credit card.
Invoices will be sent after Entry Forms and payments are received.
6. ENTRY SUBMISSION
Step 1. Fill out the online Entry Form and follow the steps to pay the Entry Fee online by credit card.
Step 2. Once you submitted your Entry Form for each campaign, you will receive an e-mail with the password and username - to the e-mail address you provided in order to upload your campaign materials.
Step 3. Log in with your username and password to the UPLOAD CAMPAIGN MATERIALS section on the www.ctamecap.com site, where you can upload all your campaign materials as soon as your Entry Fee has been transferred. (Please note that you can upload up to 3 materials/files per campaign.)
7. PREPARING YOUR MATERIALS
a. General media rules (TV, radio, online, etc)
- The maximum up loadable file size is 30 MB.
- Video must be submitted in mpeg, avi, wmv formats
- Thumbnails must be submitted to each video
- Audio must be submitted in mp3 format
- All print layout materials should be submitted in jpeg format
- Web, on-line, and e-components should be submitted as a URL link or jpeg screen shots
- Non-English entries MUST include a written translation and/or subtitles including headline translation and short summary.
b. Campaigns
- Submit maximum of 3 different media per campaigns. If you have more than 3 elements submit your best 3 examples. Submit only one example (mutation) of each media.
- Please note that we can not accept more than 3 materials per campaigns.
- Single spots are not accepted as campaigns and will not qualify in the competition.
8. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE ENTRY IS SUBMITTED?
a. All submitted materials will be judged by the judging criteria (see entry form).
b. If your entry is a finalist, you will be notified via e-mail by early-September.
c. The winners will be announced 25 September, 2008 at the CTAME Creative Awards Ceremony during the CTAM Europe EuroSummit in Berlin.
d. Bronze, Silver and Gold CTAME Creative Awards will be given out in both divisions in all 4 entry categories. (altogether 24 awards)
